The WKU volleyball team is getting ready for its opening round match of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, when the Lady Tops take on Notre Dame in Lexington.

The match is slated to begin at 5 p.m. ET inside Memorial Coliseum.

WKU earned an automatic bid to The Big Dance after winning its fourth-straight Conference USA Tournament.

Spectrum News’ Lyndsey Gough spoke with WKU head coach Travis Hudson on Thursday and asked him what it was like for his team to play its opening round match inside its home state:

The winner of Friday’s match will face the winner of No. 4 Kentucky and East Tennessee St.
