WKU SOFTBALL | Lady Toppers Ready for 2018 Season

02/05/2018 04:57 PM

The WKU softball team is getting ready to begin its 2018 regular season later this week.

The Lady Toppers are coming off a 31-31 season in which they finished 10-13 in Conference USA play.

This year’s Western Kentucky team is young, but that is not concerning to head coach Amy Tudor:

WKU opens up the regular season on Friday with a doubleheader in Boiling Springs, N.C., where it will face Hampton at 12 p.m. ET and Gardner-Webb at 4 p.m. ET.
