WKU | Hilltoppers improve to 4-1 after huge win vs Rice

WKU Football got the most out of its high-powered offense in a 49-10 road victory over Rice. The win improves the Hilltoppers’ record to 4-1 on the season.
Quarterback Brandon Doughty completed 28 of his 38 passes and threw for 409 yards and four first half touchdowns in the win, while running back D’Andre Ferby added two scores on the ground.
WKU racked up 504 yards of total offense in the victory and converted five of Rice’s turnovers into touchdowns. The Hilltoppers return to Bowling Green next week for a match-up against Middle Tennessee State on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for noon Eastern Time.
