WKU FOOTBALL | Offensive shootout likely in Ruston

10/05/2016 07:05 PM

The Western Kentucky Football team is facing a short turnaround between a Saturday night win over Houston Baptist, and tomorrow’s road game against Louisiana Tech. Jeff Brohm played it safe with his play makers against HBU, limiting snaps for guys like running back Anthony Wales, and is hoping it pays dividends against a stout Conference USA opponent.

Time of possession will be crucial in this game, because both teams have a knack for scoring the football. LA Tech is averaging over 35 points per game.

WBKO Sports Insider Chad Bishop is on his way to the C-USA showdown, and joined us to talk about Western’s chances in Ruston, LA.
