WKU FOOTBALL | Mike Sanford confident his team will learn from adversity

Western Kentucky football had its four game winning streak snapped over the weekend by Florida Atlantic University.

What made the loss hurt even more was the eight point lead the Hilltoppers carried into the fourth quarter. FAU scored 22 fourth quarter points in route to the 42-28 victory.

WKU coach Mike Sanford spoke today after having time to evaluate the film, and sais he is proud of the effort his team showed throughout the game, and knows this is an opportunity for his team to learn from adversity.
