WKU FOOTBALL | Hilltoppers working to finish close games

Western Kentucky has had a bad habit the past two games of letting their opponents back within striking distance. It ended up biting them in their loss last Saturday to Vanderbilt when the Commodores grabbed the victory in overtime. Head coach Jeff Brohm is using that as motivation this week in practice, making sure the team works on closing out a win when they are in the lead.

The Hilltoppers have their final non-conference matchup of the season on Saturday, welcoming Houston Baptist to Bowling Green for a 7:00pm ET kickoff. The team then plays seven straight Conference USA opponents, four of which are on the road.
