WKU FOOTBALL | Hilltoppers Ready to Go After BYE Week

10/03/2017 09:19 AM

The WKU football team is ready to face an opponent once again after not playing last weekend due to its OPEN date on the calendar.

The Hilltoppers (2-2, 0-1) will face UTEP (0-5, 0-1) on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET in El Paso, Tx.

Western Kentucky head coach Mike Sanford held his weekly press conference on Monday and talked about what he hopes to see from his team this Saturday:

Saturday’s match-up will be the second time the two programs have ever met on the football field. During the first meeting back in 2014, the Hilltoppers scored the game’s final 21 points en route to a 35-27 victory.
