WKU FOOTBALL | Hilltoppers Begin Preparations for Homecoming Match-Up

The WKU football team is back in Bowling Green after getting a 15-14 victory over UTEP on Saturday in Texas.

As a result of the win, the Hilltoppers improved 3-2 overall this season and 1-1 in Conference USA play.

Up next for the Tops is a winless Charlotte (0-6, 0-2) team that is coming off a 14-3 loss to Marshall on Saturday.

WKU head coach Mike Sanford previewed the match-up against the 49ers on Monday during his weekly press conference:

This week’s game against Charlotte will serve as WKU’s homecoming game. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET inside Houchens-Smith Stadium.
