WKU FOOTBALL | Hilltoppers Announce 2018 Regular Season Schedule

The WKU football program announced its 2018 regular season schedule on Tuesday.

The schedule features five home games and seven away games for the Hilltoppers.

The 2018 Hilltoppers will open the season on Friday, Aug. 31 in Madison, Wi., where they will take on the Big Ten’s Wisconsin Badgers.

Two weeks later, on Saturday, Sept. 15, they face Louisville inside Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. it will be the first time the two programs have faced each other since 1998.

Conference USA action begins for the Hilltoppers on Saturday, Sept. 29 when they host Marshall.

Here is a look at the complete schedule:

Aug. 31 – at Wisconsin
Sept. 8 – vs. Maine
Sept. 15 – at Louisville
Sept. 22 – at Ball St.
Sept. 29 – vs. Marshall
Oct. 6 – BYE WEEK
Oct. 13 – at Charlotte
Oct. 20 – vs. Old Dominion
Oct. 27 – vs. FIU
Nov. 3 – at Middle Tennessee
Nov. 10 – at Florida Atlantic
Nov. 17 – vs. UTEP
Nov. 24 – at Louisiana Tech

Game times will be announced at a later date.

Last season, the Hilltoppers finished 6-7 overall and advanced to the Cure Bowl in Mike Sanford’s first season as the Toppers head coach.
