Western Kentucky football had a new face on the practice field yesterday. Cameron Echols-Luper has joined the program as a graduate transfer from Arkansas State.

Echols-Luper is a native of Ennis, Texas and played two seasons at TCU before transferring to ASU.

He will be one of the fastest players on the WKU roster. Echols-Luper was named the fastest receiver in the Sun Belt by Sporting News, and is one of the 16 most-freakish athletes in college football by NFL.com.

In his three year playing career, The speedy wideout has branched out into multiple positions. Echols-Luper has accumulated 39 receptions for 500 yards and a TD, 54 punt returns for 560 yards and one TD, and he has even thrown a pair of touchdowns.

Head Hilltoppers coach Mike Sanford was excited to have the new offensive weapon on the field.
