The Hilltoppers Basketball team is heading north to Cincinnati to take on the 12th ranked Xavier Musketeer this Saturday.

Western Kentucky is 4-3 to start the season, and coming off a thrilling last second win over EKU. Xavier is a perfect 7-0 and playing “as well as anyone in the country” according to ‘Toppers coach Ray Harper.

Xavier is averaging 80 points per game, and have beaten their last three opponents by a combined 58 points. They feature five players scoring an average of double figures.

This is arguably Western’s toughest game of the season, especially until they head to Louisville to take on the Cardinals on December 19.
