01/21/2016 05:53 PM

The roads were clear in Bowling Green, which meant a full crowd at the Western Kentucky Women’s Basketball game versus Old Dominion. The Lady ‘Toppers took care of business on the court, beating ODU 68-51 and improving their season record to 15-2, and a perfect 6-0 in Conference USA.

It was a special event at the Thursday matinee game, the fifth annual Spread the Red Education day which invites area classrooms to take a break from their academic rigors and enjoy a basketball game at E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Western Women are 5-0 in Education Day games, and have now won 12 straight games. Their next home game is Saturday afternoon in Bowling Green against Charlotte.
