WKU BASKETBALL | Lady Toppers' Season Comes to an End

The WKU women’s basketball team’s season came to an end on Friday afternoon in Knoxville, Tenn.

The No. 11-seeded Lady Toppers (24-9) lost 82-58 to the No. 6-seeded Oregon St. Beavers (24-7) in the NCAA Tournament first round.

WKU struggled from the field, shooting only 32.8% (20-of-61).

Tashia Brown led the way for the Lady Toppers with a team-high 17 points and seven rebounds.

Oregon St. was led by Marie Gulich’s game-high 29 points.
