The WKU women’s basketball team is getting ready for one of its biggest games of the season, when it hosts No. 6 Notre Dame on Tuesday night.

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET inside Diddle Arena.

Notre Dame will be the highest-ranked opponent to play inside Diddle Arena since 2013.

Head Coach Michelle Clark-Heard and Athletic Director Todd Stewart talked about the significance of a team like Notre Dame to visit Bowling Green:

WKU (1-1, 0-0) enters the match-up coming off a successful opening weekend, beating No. 16 Missouri 79-76 on Friday before falling to Iowa 104-97 in overtime on Saturday.
