WKU BASKETBALL | Hilltoppers now hold one of the top recruiting classes in the nation

The Western Kentucky men’s basketball team added a new player to its Class of 2017 recruiting class.

Four-star recruit Josh Anderson has reportedly committed to WKU. The 6-foot-4 guard from Madison Prep Academy in Baton Rouge, LA, is ranked no. 84 in the “ESPN Top-100” ratings for Class of 2017 recruits.

Anderson is another big pick-up for new WKU head coach Rick Stansbury. Earlier this year, five-star recruit Mitchell Robinson, also from Louisiana, committed to Western.

As a result of the two players’ decisions, 247 Sports ranks WKU as having the 11th-best Class of 2017 recruiting class in the country.
