WKU BASKETBALL | Hilltoppers looking for redemption at MTSU

02/25/2016 11:01 AM

The regional rivalry between Western Kentucky University and Middle Tennessee State University renews again Thursday night. The Hilltoppers are seeking redemption for the 66-64 loss at the hands of MTSU at the end of January.

The Blue Raiders are one the top three teams in Conference USA, and are the first of WKU’s two straight road games. MTSU will be without one of their star athletes, point guard Jacob Ivory will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a concussion.

Western is coming off a thrilling come-from-behind win over Charlotte on Saturday. With four games remaining in the regular season, every Hilltopper victory improves their seeding in the Conference USA tournament.
