The Western Kentucky men’s basketball team is one win away from clinching a spot in the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.

The three-seeded Hilltoppers (24-9, 14-4) beat the two-seeded Old Dominion Monarchs (25-7, 15-3) in the semifinal round of the Conference USA Tournament on Friday. The final score was 57-49.

Justin Johnson led the way for WKU with 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Taveion Hollingsworth added 11 points.

The win punches the Hilltoppers’ ticket to the conference championship game, where it will face Marshall (23-10, 13-5) on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET (7:30 CT) inside the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Tx.

WKU has beaten Marshall twice already this season.

The winner of Saturday’s game will earn the conference’s automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
