WKU Basketball | Former Hilltopper Pancake Thomas Signs Pro Deal

Former Western Kentucky University guard, Pancake Thomas signed his first professional contract with Mitteldeutscher Basketball Club in Germany, the team announced Thursday. They play in the first-tier league in Germany.

Thomas started all 32 games for WKU during the 2016-17 season after transferring to WKU as a graduate senior.

He averaged 13.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

Thomas will join several Hilltoppers playing pro ball. Heading into the 2016-17 season, there were 15 former WKU players active professionally, both in the U.S. and overseas.
