WKU BASEBALL | Hilltoppers ready for tough C-USA schedule

02/07/2017 08:00 PM

The Western Kentucky baseball team is a week and a half out from its 2017 season, and head coach John Pawlowski is excited for his second season at the helm of the Hilltoppers.

Last year, WKU finished the season with 24-30 record and are ready to make major improvements on that mark. The Tops open the season with a three game home series against Valparaiso from Feb. 17-19.

Nick Denes Field underwent major renovations in the offseason, and in an exclusive interview with Andrew Chernoff, Coach Pawlowski says that is only one of the reasons WKU will be a team to watch in a very competitive league.
