WKU BASEBALL | Hilltoppers Ready for 2018 Regular Season

The WKU baseball team is ready to begin its 2018 regular season.

The Hilltoppers will begin play this weekend at Memphis. Their three-game series was scheduled to begin Friday, before it was postponed due to “heavy rain in the region.”

The two programs will hope to still play all three-games of their series on Saturday and Sunday.

Western Kentucky is coming off a season in which it finished 16-39 overall, 6-24 in Conference USA play.

Head coach John Pawlowski talked about his 2018 Hilltoppers on Wednesday, during the program’s annual media day:

Western Kentucky is picked to finish last (12th) in C-USA this year, according to the conference’s preseason poll.
