V.J. King records his first 30 point game in Louisville

Five star future Cardinal V.J. King was in Louisville today, taking part in the King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic. His high school team, Paul VI from Fairfax Virginia, beat North Bullitt high school 103-51.

Rick Pitino, most of his assistant coaches, and the entire Louisville basketball team (minus Deng Adel and Mangok Mathiang who underwent foot surgery ) were in attendance. King picked up 35 points on the night, and got some love from his future teammates after the dominant performance.

Garrett Moore

Garrett is a Sports Producer for Spectrum News. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State and got his start as a sports photographer. He now produces Sports Night, the state’s only nightly show dedicated to in-depth coverage of all sports in Kentucky. Sports Night airs weeknights at 6:30 and 10:30 on Spectrum News. Outside the station, Garrett enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing, and prides himself on being all-in as a sports spectator.
