UofL WOMEN'S BASKETBALL | Cards Host Media Day

10/19/2016 07:10 PM

The Louisville women’s basketball team held its annual “Media Day” on Wednesday afternoon.

The day served as a chance for member of the media to catch up with with coaches and players before the season begins.

After the interviews concluded, the Cardinals took a team photo and then held a practice inside the Student Activities Center.

This season, UofL has high expectations. It was picked to finish second in the ACC, behind Notre Dame, according to the league’s preseason conference coaches’ poll.

One of keys to success this season will be forward Myisha Hines-Allen. The junior was named ACC Preseason Player of the Year earlier this month.

She is the reining conference Player of the Year last season after averaging over 17 points per game.
