UofL VOLLEYBALL | Cards excited to have fans closer to the action

The University of Louisville volleyball team has spent the last several seasons hosting matches in the KFC Yum! Center, but are moving to Cardinal Arena on the school’s campus starting this season.

The move is part of the University’s new lease agreement with the Yum! Center, and it will create a much different atmosphere for the fans and players.

Cardinal Arena holds just over 1,000 fans, compared to the Yum! Center’s 22,000+ capacity. That means Card Nation will be basically on top of the court, creating a much more intimate, not to mention loud setting for home matches. New head coach Dani Busboom Kelly loves the new venue.
