The Louisville swimming and diving program performed very well on the international stage last month.

In fact, the program took home 11 medals at the 2017 FINA World Championships, which occurred in Budapest, Hungary.

The 11 medals are the third most medals collected by one American college at the event this year. Stanford collected 14 medals, while Cal collected 13 medals. Like Louisville, Georgia also took home 11 medals.

Two of the swimmers who helped the Cards collect medals were current Cardinal Mallory Comerford and former Cardinal Kelsi Worrell.

In the process of collecting medals, the duo also broke some records.
