University of Louisville student Kyle Hornback spoke out on Friday after filing a complaint in court against Katina Powell and the publisher of “Breaking Cardinal Rules.”

Hornback is asking on the behalf of herself and others like her that Indiana publisher IBJ divert any money obligated to Powell for writing the book and proceeds from the sale of the book to the Jefferson County Circuit Court’s office instead.

Hornback told cn|2 Sports that she felt it was her responsibility to take a stand for the student body and would not change anything about her decision to file the complaint.

Hornback says that Powell’s admission that she wrote the book for financial gain is the very reason she decided something had to be done.
