The Louisville softball team is getting ready to hit the road as it prepares to travel to the ACC Tournament in Atlanta, Ga.

The Cards (32-19, 10-12) are the No. 8-seed in the tournament bracket and will face No. 9-seeded Syracuse (30-19, 9-12) on Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET at Georgia Tech’s Shirley C. Mewborn Field.

UofL and Syracuse split a regular season doubleheader at Syracuse on April 13. Each game was only decided by one run. UofL head coach Sandy Pearsall is expecting another close game between the two programs this week:

The winner of Wednesday’s match-up will face No. 1-seeded Florida St. on Thursday.
