Three Louisville men’s soccer players were recognized by the ACC on Tuesday, each earning All-ACC honors.

Senior defender Tim Kubel was named a member of the 2017 All-ACC First Team. Kubel has six goals and five assists this season for the Cardinals.

It’s the third straight All-ACC First Team honor for Kubel.

Meanwhile, junior midfielder Tate Schmitt and senior forward Mohamed Thiaw were each named members of the 2017 All-ACC Second Team. Schmitt has seven goals and three assists this season. Thiaw on the other hand has a team-leading eight goals on the year, along with one assist.

Andrew is a sports anchor and sports managing editor for Spectrum News. He covers sports all across the state of Kentucky for Sports Night, which airs weeknights at 6:30 and 10:30 on Spectrum News.
