UofL SOCCER | Thiaw Coming Off Huge Match Tuesday Night

10/12/2017 01:03 PM

Louisville men’s soccer player Mohamed Thiaw had a memorable match on Tuesday night against Florida Atlantic.

The Cardinal forward scored three goals in the Cards’ 5-0 win over FAU.

He became the first UofL men’s soccer player to score a hat trick since Dylan Mares scored three goals against Winthrop in November of 2012.

UofL head coach Ken Lolla discussed what worked so well for Thiaw on Tuesday:

At practice on Thursday, Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff caught up with Thiaw and asked him how his teammates have reacted to Thiaw’s memorable performance:

The No. 5 Louisville Cardinals host the No. 4 UNC Tar Heels on Friday night inside Lynn Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
