The University of Louisville retired Crawford Gym on Thursday and will soon tear the building down to clear the way for a new academic building.

The practice facility for UofL basketball was notorious for being very warm, due to a lack in air conditioning. And, temperatures would soar even higher when hundreds of people packed in to watch pick-up basketball games during the summer.

During a special ceremony, Hall of Fame coach Denny Crum and former UofL star players shared a few memories of the gym that shaped their game.
