UofL MEN'S SOCCER | Cards Ready for Elite Eight Match-Up

12/02/2016 07:00 PM

The No. 4 Louisville men’s soccer team is less than 24 hours away from kicking off against No. 5 Stanford.

Kickoff between the Cardinals (14-5-2) and the Cardinal (13-3-4) is set for 7 p.m. ET on Saturday inside Louisville’s Lynn Stadium.

UofL is coming off a 3-1 win over No. 13 Notre Dame last Sunday, while Stanford survived a double-overtime thriller against No. 12 Virginia on the same night, winning 2-1.

Saturday’s game will be the second straight season Stanford has visited Louisville, with the Cardinal beating the home team last year 1-0.

UofL Ken Lolla talks about Saturday’s match-up:
