The No. 4 Louisville Cardinals (14-5-2) are preparing to play #5 Stanford Cardinal (13-3-4) in Saturday’s Elite Eight match-up.

Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET inside UofL’s Lynn Stadium.

Saturday’s game will be the first time the Cards have played in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight since the 2012 season.

They are coming off a 3-1 victory over No. 13 Notre Dame Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, Stanford is coming off a 1-0 double overtime win over No. 12 Virginia on Sunday.

The Cardinal is the defending national champion.

UofL junior defender Tim Kubel has been named one of 15 semifinalists for the MAC Hermann Award. The award is the most prestigious individual honor in NCAA Division I soccer. Kubel has 11 assists and three goals on the season.
