Both the Louisville and Bellarmine men’s basketball teams learned a lot from their exhibition match-up Monday night.

Louisville won the game 81-60 thanks in part to a strong first half. At halftime, UofL led the game 49-17.

In the first half, the Cards shot the ball well, going 18 of 34 (52.9%) from the field.

On the other side, Bellarmine shot 3-16 (18.8%) from the field in the first half.

The second half was a different story, with Bellarmine outscoring Louisville 43-32 in the game’s final 20 minutes.

Louisville opens up its regular season on Friday against Evansville. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, Bellarmine also opens up its regular season on Friday at 8 p.m. ET at Saginaw Valley State University.
