Once down by 22 points in the first half, #20 Baylor (6-0) rallied to beat #10 Louisville (5-1) the Battle 4 Atlantis championship on Friday afternoon.

It was a tale of two halves, as the Cardinals found themselves up 39-24 at halftime, before being outscored 42-24 in the second half by the Bears.

King McClure and Johnathan Motley each led the way for the Bears with 15 points apiece.

Meanwhile, Louisville’s Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 17 points. He also led the Cards with 8 rebounds.

Two other UofL players scored in double-digits on Friday. Quentin Snider tacked on 14 points for Louisville and Jaylen Johnson added 10 points for the Cardinals.

A big difference between the teams by the end of the game was field goal percentage. Baylor was 26-49 (53.1%) from the field, while UofL was 25-64 (39.1%) from the field.

The Cardinals will hope to rebound on Wednesday when they host #17 Purdue in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the KFC Yum! Center.
