UofL Reliever Zack Burdi hit Timmy Richards with the bases loaded in the top of the 10th inning, forcing in the game winning run, as Cal-State Fullerton beat Louisville 3-2.
Here are the comments of Head Coach Dan McDonnell.

The Cardinals are in a must-win situation. If Louisville does not defeat the Titans Sunday starting at noon, the Cards season comes to an end. If UofL does get the victory, the third and deciding game takes place on Monday. Freshman of the year Brendan McKay will get the start tomorrow. He and outfielder Mike White discuss the tough at bats and what they need to do tomorrow.

The loss is Louisville’s first of the post-season, but Cal-State Fullerton has had the Cardinal’s number. The Titans beat the Cards in Florida during the opening weekend of the season, and back in 2009, CSF, while hosting the Super Regionals, swept UofL by a combined margin of 23-2.
