UofL LACROSSE | Cardinals Hit the Road to the NCAA Tournament

05/10/2017 06:05 PM

The Louisville women’s lacrosse team left campus on Wednesday afternoon en route to University Park, Pa., where it will begin its quest to win a national championship.

The Cardinals will play James Madison in their NCAA Tournament first-round match-up on Friday.

It will be the first time that the two programs will face each other.

Friday’s match will also be a reunion of sorts for UofL head coach Kellie Young. Young was head coach of James Madison from 2002-2006.

Should the Cards win on Friday, they would face No. 4 seed Penn St. on Sunday.
