UofL HOOPS | Jeff Walz wants to see a lot more fight from his team

12/11/2015 05:48 PM

The U of L Women’s Basketball team had their two game win streak snapped last night in a 72-54 loss to the Kentucky Wildcats. This is the Cards fifth straight loss to UK, and it knocks Louisville’s record down to a disappointing 3-5 to start the season.

The Cards must now regroup and prepare IUPUI this Sunday as head coach Jeff Walz grows increasingly concerned with his team’s will to win, and the effort he sees on the court. He made that sentiment known by saying he has “never seen a team with as little fire as this team has.”
