UofL FOOTBALL | Veteran roster leaves less room for newcomer impact

On a roster loaded with returning starters, very few new faces will take the field for the University of Louisville football team when they play the University of North Carolina, Charlotte on September 1. There is plenty of freshman talent on this season’s team, and a number of junior college transfers, but head coach Bobby Petrino, says it will be tough for newcomers to crack the game day rosters.

Garrett is a Sports Producer for Spectrum News. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State and got his start as a sports photographer.
