UofL FOOTBALL | Two Named To Outland Trophy Watch List

The preseason award watch-lists continue to roll in for the UofL football players. Thursday, a pair of linemen were recognized.

Defensive tackle Drew Bailey and offensive guard Jerrin Christian were added to the Outland Trophy Watch List.

The award is presented by the Football Writers Association of America and honors the top interior lineman in the country.

Bailey is entering his senior season and has career 67 tackles- 10 for loss and 2.5 sacks in his 25 appearances for Louisville.

Christian is entering his junior season and is already a two year starter on the O-line.

The list is trimmed to semifinalists on November 15 and the three finalists are named the following week. The winner of the 72nd Outland Trophy will be announced live on ESPN at The Home Depot College Football Awards on Dec. 7.
