UofL FOOTBALL | Trevon Young Recognized by ACC

11/30/2017 01:59 PM

UofL football’s Trevon Young was named the 2017 ACC Brian Piccolo Award winner on Thursday.

He becomes the first-ever Louisville player to receive the award, which recognizes the conference’s “most courageous” football player.

The defensive end/outside linebacker suffered a fractured dislocation of his left hip during the 2015 Music City Bowl. As a result of his injury, he missed the entire 2016 season.

This year though, Young returned to the field, where he has 52 total tackles, including nine tackles for loss. Young also has eight quarterback hurries.
