UofL FOOTBALL | Trevon Young Glad to Be Back on Field

08/01/2017 03:28 PM

Louisville senior linebacker Trevon Young was back on the field with his teammates during the team’s first practice of the fall Monday.

And everyone, including head coach Bobby Petrino, was glad to see Young out there.

“He looked really good,” said Petrino. “It’s great to see that. I’m just really proud of him.”

Young missed the entire 2016 season recovering from a hip injury he received during the 2015 Music City Bowl.

“It’s never fun to watch your teammates go out there and play, but I feel like I learned a lot and grew a lot as a person from having to sit out and go through what I went through,” said Young. “It was worth it.”
