UofL FOOTBALL | The Wake Forest opinion on the Wakey Leaks latest

12/15/2016 07:30 PM

The University of Louisville football team had one of the best weekends in program history immediately immediately followed by days it wish it could forget. Specifically the now admitted involvement of the school in the recent Wake Forest football intel breach.

Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich released a statement saying offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway did receive game plan information in the week leading up to the Cardinals matchup with the Demon Deacons. Since then, more universities have admitted being approached by Tommy Elrod, the former Wake radio analyst responsible for doling out game plans.

The ACC is also now involved, and is in the process of obtaining Wake Forest’s internal findings. Wake Forest launched a private investigation immediately following their game against Louisville, after a member of the coaching staff found the aforementioned game plans given to Lonnie Galloway.

We wanted to hear from someone a little closer to the issue, so we contacted Robert Reinhard. The managing editor for SB Nation’s Wake Forest site, BloggerSoDear.com
