UofL FOOTBALL | The Cardinals are going back to square one

12/14/2015 06:15 PM

The Louisville Football team is just over two weeks away from taking on Texas A&M in the Music City Bowl. When it’s all said and done, that is more than a month after the conclusion of the regular season, which means the Cardinal coaches are getting back to the fundamentals.

Louisville finished the regular season winning 6 of their last seven games. The strong finish to the season was almost enough to erase the memory of a 0-3 start, almost. Five losses weighs heavily on the mind of the players and coaches alike, who are using this extra month of practices as a refresh button, healing bruises and studying up for a stout SEC opponent. On a team peppered with youth, but loaded with talent, Bobby Petrino and company are installing what they hope to be an insurmountable game plan against the Aggies on December 30th.
