UofL FOOTBALL | Teammates are confident Lamar Jackson will surpass expectations

There are only seven days until the University of Louisville’s season opener against Charlotte, which means only seven days until Card fans can see what sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson is capable of when he actually knows Petrino’s system. As a freshman, he managed over 900 rushing yards, 1,800 passing, and 23 total touchdowns. And even with a year of dedicated practice under his belt, Jackson’s teammates expect him to exceed the expectations.
