UofL FOOTBALL | Robbie Bell appreciating the opportunity to snap to Lamar Jackson

08/23/2017 04:50 PM

Despite being snubbed in numerous preseason player ranking lists, Lamar Jackson is still the reigning Heisman winner, the reigning ACC player of the year, and has broken a number of Louisville quarterback records. He has said repeatedly this season, that he is not concerned with any of the personal honors though, he simply wants his team to win.

The drop from some lists you could argue is from a new supporting cast on the Louisville offense. The team lost its three leading pass catchers last year, its second-leading rusher, and multiple starting offensive linemen.

One of the new guys stepping up on the offensive line is sophomore center Robbie Bell. Bell is taking snapping duties from graduated senior Tobijah Hughley, and after watching most of Jackson’s accomplishments last season from the sideline, Bell is excited to be a part of the success this season.

Jason Anderson from ESPN Louisville joined Andrew Chernoff today to talk more about some of the young faces on the Cardinals O-Line.
