UofL FOOTBALL | Red Cruises in Spring Game

The “Red Team” won Saturday’s Spring Game in convincing fashion, beating the “White Team” 52-7.

The “Red Team” scored the last 45 points of the game.

The total offense between the two teams was a big difference in the match-up. The “Red Team” finished with 525 yards of total offense, while the “White Team” finished with only 330.

That’s not too surprising, since reigning Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson led the “Red Team” in the contest.

Jackson finished the game going 19-of-32 for 346 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. The Cardinal quarterback also ran the ball four times for 33 yards and a touchdown.

His favorite receiver on the day turned out to be Dez Fitzpatrick, who caught nine passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns.
