UofL FOOTBALL | Prime time setting for Cards game against Houston

06/15/2016 05:54 PM

Louisville Football will get a chance for redemption again the University of Houston this season, and it will be the prime-time game on ESPN.

In the second to last game of the regular season, U of L will go to Houston on Thursday, November 17, and take on Tom Herman’s Cougar’s in an 8:00pm game that will broadcast on ESPN.

Last season, U of L suffered a three point loss to Houston in week two. It was a surprising loss at the time, but Houston would go on to finish the season ranked inside the top-10. The Cougars return starting QB Greg Ward Jr, who threw for over 200 yards and three touchdowns against the Cards in 2015, on top of rushing for over 100 yards.

Louisville closes out their regular season with the road game at Houston, and then host Kentucky on November 26.
