UofL FOOTBALL | Petrino knows when to get after his players

09/23/2015 06:30 AM

The University of Louisville football team is 0-3. We’ve said it a lot now and it still sounds off, but it’s true. The third loss came at the hands of a talented Clemson team that Louisville has multiple opportunities to beat late in the game.

Head Coach Bobby Petrino has always been animated, and his displeasure rings across practice fields when he deems necessary, but after Saturday night’s result, he refrained from jumping down his team’s throat. At least that’s the case according to sophomore running back L.J. Scott. Scott says that at such a vulnerable point in the team’s season, Coach Petrino knows how to approach and educate his players.

L.J. Scott talks a lot more about Coach Petrino, and how the Cardinals are preparing to make a positive mid-season push.
