UofL FOOTBALL | Petrino has his eyes on another dual-threat Florida QB

Louisville Football has had a lot of success with Florida kids under center. Lamar Jackson is one of the most dynamic athletes in college football, and Louisville fan favorite Teddy Bridgewater is in the middle of a successful career with the Minnesota Vikings.

The Cards are now recruiting another talented quarterback from the state of Florida in James Blackman. The 6-foot-5 QB is a 2017 prospect, and recently stood out at Bobby Petrino’s QB academy.

The Cards are also recruiting a highly touted Florida safety. We asked recruiting analyst Mike Singer from CardinalSports.com about the two kids from the Sunshine State, and also about the recent commitment of Belfry, KY’s Cole Bentley.
