UofL FOOTBALL | Newcomers poised for playing time on Louisville defense

The defense for the University of Louisville football team is loaded with returning players from 2015, but those returners will not shoulder all the responsibility for a productive season. Throughout camp, defensive coordinator Todd Grantham praised the effort and skills shown by certain newcomers like P.J. Blue, Tabarius Peterson, and London Iakopo.

We asked former U of L linebacker Dexter Heyman to come on the show, and he gave a perfect example of how one Cardinal, now in the NFL, made an impact at a very early stage of his college career.

Garrett Moore

Garrett is a Sports Producer for Spectrum News. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State and got his start as a sports photographer.
