UofL FOOTBALL | Louisville's first depth chart for the 2017 season

Louisville football takes the practice fields in 17 days, and it will definitely look different than last season!

Head coach Bobby Petrino was at ACC Kickoff along with Lamar Jackson and Jaire Alexander, and the program released its 2017 media guide. That includes the first depth chart of the 2017 season.

No breaking news here, Lamar Jackson is the starting quarterback for the Cards.
Other parts in the backfield do look different though, Reggie Bonnafon is officially first on the depth chart for the running back slot. He makes the move from wide receiver after the departure of Brandon Radcliff and an injury to Dae Williams.

Then on defense, Cornelius Sturghill is back after missing last season due to injury, and the speedster has taken a starting job at corner over last year’s starter, Trumaine Washington.

Also worth noting that true freshman Cole Bentley out of Belfry, Kentucky is listed as the starting left guard on the O-line with Robbie Bell taking over at center.

Here is the full offensive and defensive depth chart:

Chris Person from CardinalSports.com, part of the Rivals network joined the show to help us break down the depth chart, starting with the offensive front.
